On Thursday June 30th, 2022 at 19:30pm (BST), we are hosting the online premiere of our acclaimed full mask theatre show, Dead Good.
And it will be absolutely free.
Originally commissioned by London International Mime Festival, Dead Good is a funny and poignant theatre show celebrating friendship - and the importance of living every precious day to the full. Performed completely without words, the show’s 5-star reviews describe it as "a masterclass in beautifully crafted and articulate full mask acting” (Drama and Theatre Magazine) and “the most perfect and powerful 75-minutes of silent storytelling” (Arts City Liverpool).
Dead Good stars two of the finest mask actors in the UK - Alan Riley, founder of Trestle Theatre, and James Greaves, who’s performed across the world with both Trestle and Vamos Theatre – alongside actors Radhika Aggarwal and Bidi Iredale. The show was filmed especially for the online film premiere on its recent national tour.
After the show, you’ll have the chance to live chat on YouTube with director, Rachael Savage, and author and palliative care specialist, Kathryn Mannix. Then, from June 30th to July 14th only, the performance of Dead Good will be available to view online anytime on Vamos Theatre’s YouTube channel www.youtube.com/vamostheatre and website.
Whether you've seen Dead Good live and want to see it again or if you’ve never seen Vamos Theatre before, this is your chance to catch the UK’s leading full mask theatre company in one of its most acclaimed productions from the comfort of your living room. We'll keep you in touch with the latest details in the run up to June 30th.
