Join in with this creative, high energy and inspiring masterclass, giving participants a thorough grounding in full mask technique.

Through exercises and shared exploration, this two-day masterclass introduces mask characterisation, mask physicality, and techniques such as clocking, stillness and isolation, helping to build confidence and understanding of mask performance. More advanced full mask skills and a deeper understanding of the form will also be covered, including devising - both individually and as a mask ensemble.

This masterclass is suitable for everyone interested in mask, especially actors, performers and theatre practitioners, aged 18+. Vamos Theatre strives to increase the pool of available mask talent in the UK and often finds new performers for its productions through these masterclasses.

Honor writes, "This masterclass promises to be challenging, insightful, creative and fun, and I want everyone in the room to feel their confidence in mask, non-verbal theatre, physicality and devising, grow and flourish over the two days. We love meeting new performers, teachers and theatre makers, and I hope to inspire them with new skills and new learning that expands their opportunities - often the talent in the room is so exciting we end up working together way beyond the workshop space."
