In January we opened up our digital learning area, mask.ED, giving teachers eight weeks access to mask, devising and theatre making modules for free.

The uptake has been fantastic, with teachers joining from Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America.

mask.ED was created as an accessible resource to support drama teachers and educators working with students on mask, devising, physical theatre and theatre making. Prices are kept as low as possible and modules are flexible and easy to use. Along with some of our other education resources, mask.ED was awarded the Drama & Theatre Magazine Education Awards Editor's Award 2023.

Here are some of the comments from teachers using mask.ED:
"What a fabulous resource! The first video has lasted us about four lessons so far and is being used to prep my Year 10s for a scripted performance of commedia (One Man). Thank you, Vamos!" Fairfield High School, Manchester

"The resource has been a huge support for a combined arts unit being delivered to sixth form students and I have found it really useful. We are also going to use the full performance (which is huge unexpected bonus!) to prepare for our live theatre…" Malton School, Ryedale

"mask.ED is a brilliant resource and a long awaited foolproof scheme of work for mask work. The format is excellent. There is nothing else out there as accessible and user-friendly as this course." Hautlieu School, Jersey

Mask.ED modules are set at £45 for unlimited access and each module provides many hours of teaching material. To find out more see our mask.ED page.
