Would you like to join us for a day of play, exploration and fun? We've created a brand new workshop, designed for non-theatre professionals who are interested in how theatre is made and are curious about masks and performance.
 
Playing Up! is a one-day workshop where you’ll learn about our masks and get to try them out, discover how to communicate non-verbally using movement and body-language, and play games that open up creativity. It’s a rare chance to see inside the world of a professional theatre company and have a great day of fun and play in the process. 

Honor Hoskins, Vamos Theatre’s Creative Producer comments, “This is an exciting one-day workshop where you’ll learn the basic techniques and skills of mask work, and how we being to devise our shows using non-verbal theatre. It will be a fantastic day of play and laughter, full of learning through discovery. I can’t stress enough absolutely no performance experience is necessary, this is a day of creativity open to all.”

Playing Up! will be held at The Angel Centre, 14 Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN on Saturday, 4 March 2023, 11:00 – 16:00 GMT.
