We are delighted to announce the appointment of Carden Stapleton as our new Learning Intern, thanks to the support of the Mo Siewcharran Fund.

The Mo Siewcharran fund helps to transform lives and inspire young Black, Asian and ethnically diverse careers in the creative industries. With its help, we have been able to offer a unique training opportunity for Carden to be part of our team for six months, working across all areas of our Learning and Participation delivery.

Carden is a talented young artist who studied dance at De Montfort University and since graduating, has worked as a freelancer with many different roles including as a performer, workshop leader, workshop assistant, videographer, and video editor.

We’d like to thank the Mo Siewcharran Fund for offering us this opportunity and Creative Access, a social enterprise supporting people from under-represented communities in the creative industries, for its help with recruitment and support.

Honor Hoskins, Vamos Theatre’s Creative Producer commented, “It is a complete pleasure to welcome Carden on board. His passion, drive and honesty have been evident from first meeting and we are very excited about where this journey could take us, and how we can support this exciting young artist. We would like to thank the Mo Siewcharran Fund and Creative Access, as without their support this opportunity would not have been possible.”

Carden Stapleton added, “I'm so grateful to be offered this opportunity to work with the Vamos Theatre team. It is an absolute privilege to learn more about the industry and continue to grow with such a generous theatre company whose outreach and work in the community are so inspiring.”

A huge Vamos Theatre welcome to Carden from all the team.
