Throughout September and October, Alzheimer’s Society is holding a series of Memory Walks across the country to celebrate loved ones affected by dementia and raise money to defeat the disease. The walks are spread across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and each walk will take on a different route through either a city, woodland or a park.
This year over 110,000 people walk united against dementia, with the aim of raising over £9 million.
Vamos Theatre is a member of Dementia Action Alliance, and we want to do everything we can to help the fight to defeat dementia. If you'd like to do something too, you can join an existing Memory Walk or organise your own – click here to find your nearest walk (Alzhemier’s Society website).
