We're delighted to welcome Dr Marion Lynch to the Vamos team, who will take on the role of our Health and Social Care ‘Connector’.
Marion’s job will be to make new (and deepen existing) connections for us within the Health and Social Care sectors, working to attract new partners and widen our audiences, helping to bridge the gap between the worlds of arts and health.
Marion comes to us with 30 years of NHS experience, and wide clinical knowledge. Her work includes NHS England SC STP workforce lead, TVWLA QI & Patient Leadership, Arts for Health Academic, Nurse, and Dementia Campaigner. Her post is made possible by Vamos's Strategic Touring award from Arts Council England.
Marion is thrilled to be joining the team at Vamos. She comments, "I am so passionate about the use of the arts to learn that I spent many years studying for a Doctorate to prove that it works. I will connect my academic knowledge to the team’s artistic knowledge to create educational materials and innovative ideas. All of these connections will enable Vamos and Finding Joy to bring art to the heart of care."
