We'd like to say a huge thank you to those from the d/Deaf community who took part in our recent website consultation.

Over the last few years we've been working with members of the d/Deaf community to increase the accessibilty of our work, including inviting consultants to attend rehearsals and take part in research and development. We've also been working with deaf workshop facilitators, who lead mask performance sessions for both professionals and students.

It's important that our website also reflects this relationship. We've recently undertaken a consultancy to see what we 're doing right, and what we could do better. and getting direct input from d/Deaf web users has been illuminating and invaluable.

Whilst our website has been designed with accessibility in mind, there has still been lots to learn and we're already beginning to implement some of the suggestions, such as having a contact email address on the Home Page (not just a phone number), and making sure our BSL trailers are clearly signposted.

We'll be including all the results of the consultation in our future website development planning, with the hope that all deaf web users will find visiting our site interesting, clear and easy to navigate.
