We’re delighted to announce the second Vamos Amigos Day – our chance to say a huge thank you to all our Amigos for their support over the last couple of years. Held at our base in Worcester, the day is completely free and open to all Amigos.
Vamos Amigos is a group of supporters who want to be more involved with the company and help spread the word about our work. We currently have a fabulous group, who between them share publicity, help us practically at venues or support us through social media and press. Amigos who help us receive a complimentary ticket for a performance of their choice (subject to availability), plus some other goodies like badges and programmes - and the chance to join us at our Amigos Day!
At the event, participants will be welcomed to Vamos HQ with a guided tour of the building, learn about and try out our iconic masks under the guidance of Artistic Director, Rachael Savage, have a (vegan and locally sourced) lunch together, take part in a Community Conversation feeding into the making of our next show about neighbourhood and community, and finally chat with us and other Amigos about how we can best support you supporting us.
If the first Amigos Day was anything to go by, it's going to be a joyous, friendly and communal day.
