We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new Vamos Theatre Associate Artists.

Performer Sarah Hawkins has been with the company since she joined Vamos Young People’s Theatre as a teenager. She made her professional debut touring nationally in our original production of Nursing Lives in 2010, and since then she has been part of almost every production we’ve made – including national tours of Finding Joy, Nursing Lives (2015), and The Best Thing. We’ve seen Sarah develop into a fantastic mask actor, and love the organisation and commitment she brings to everything she does with the company. We’re delighted she is now an Associate.

Performer and director Alan Riley was a founder member of Trestle Theatre Company, and is a hugely experienced and talented mask theatre actor. He has been part of creating Finding Joy and The Best Thing, as well as performing in Walkabout, and his eye for detail brings something special to all the shows he works on. His experience and humour are a great addition to the Vamos team.

Sarah and Alan join our current Associates Janie Armour (composer), Carl Davies (set and costume designer), and Richard J Fletcher (performer and tour manager).
