Welcome to Radhika Aggarwal, James Greaves, Joanna Holden and Alan Riley who are our cast for Dead Good 2022. They will be joined on the road by technician, Elliot Clark for the UK tour.
Radhika Aggarwal joins us to play Shafali and other parts. This is her first show for Vamos Theatre, and we’re delighted to welcome her to the team. Passionate about new work and building ensemble, Radhika works across film, theatre, television, games, and audio. Theatre work includes Satyagraha (Improbable/ENO), The Lovely Bones (Birmingham Rep), and An Arrangement of Shoes (Tara Theatre/Vancouver Fringe 'Pick of The Fringe'). She is part of Soho Writers Lab 2021 and an Associate Artist with Phakama and recipient of their Artist Bursary 2021. Radhika created Echo Chamber Audio during lockdown to explore aural storytelling. She drums for antifolk band Extradition Order and is a member of Orchestrated Discontent. We are so delighted that she is joining us for Dead Good.
Vamos Theatre audiences will know Bidi Iredale from our production, Finding Joy, where she played the role of Joy in 2018. Bidi's theatre work includes performances for NTC Touring Theatre, Northern Stage, CTC, The National Trust Theatre, The Customs House and Pentabus. Television includes A&E, The Glass Virgin and Coronation Street. She also writes and performs historical walkabout characters for events and museums, and has her own reminiscence project, Sweet Memories.
We’re sure that audiences will be particularly excited that the characters of Bob and Bernard will be played by James Greaves and Alan Riley. James, who has performed for Vamos Theatre many times, was also a mainstay actor with Trestle Theatre during their most influential years. He performed in many shows across the world, including Top Storey, Hanging Around, Blood and Roses, Bitter Fruit and Adventures Of The Stoneheads, amongst others - and we’re lucky enough to have his mask skill and experience once again in Dead Good.
James is joined by Alan Riley, a co-founder of Trestle Theatre. As an original member of the company, Alan performed in many Trestle classics, including Hanging Around, A Slight Hitch, State of Bewilderment, Running Dogs, Fool House and The Adventures of the Stoneheads. Alan has also been an Associate Artist with Vamos Theatre for the last few years, working as an Associate Director on Finding Joy, The Best Thing, A Brave Face and Dead Good, and we’re delighted to have finally tempted him back onto the stage!
On tour with the cast will be technician Elliot Clark, who was part of the Vamos Theatre tour team for our show, Finding Joy.
All in all, we have a wonderful cast on board and we think that our upcoming tour of Dead Good will be one of our best – let us know what you think!
