We were proud to be hosts last week for Creative Minds 2016, an open space-style forum for arts professionals in the West Midlands. Artists and organisations joined us from across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and beyond, bringing energy and passion to the discussion of issues and ideas affecting all of us in the arts.

The day of creative exploration proved an excellent platform for making connections, sharing concerns, and stirring up ideas: one of the outcomes included Litchfield Garrick and Roses Theatre Tewkesbury collaborating with Vamos Theatre to initiate  and host an Arts in Health event.

Thank you to Orit Azaz for inspiring and facilitating us all to have such productive discussions, and to Nikki Ralston of Arts Council England for providing an ACE surgery...and of course to all the participants who made the day such a success. Here’s to the next meeting of Creative Minds!

A Meeting of Creative Minds was supported by Worcestershire Arts Partnership and Arts Council England.
