Vamos Theatre's lateset mask making workshop proved a great success this Saturday at Worcester Arts Workshop. We had a cracking group of participants, who spent the day finding out just how our theatre masks are made - from moulding the clay to 'pulling' the mask - using a vacuum former to mould the plastic over the clay - and then the different ways to paint a mask to give it expression and character. We were delighted to run the workshop once again at Worcester Arts Workshop, the perfect venue for getting stuck in to practical mask making.

Rachael Savage, who led the day's workshop, commented, 'we always seem to have such a great group of people at our mask making, who are up for trying new things and being creative. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and see the fantastic masks they made.'

Thank you to everyone who came to the workshop, some of whom travelled a long way to be there. Thanks also, as ever, to Worcester Arts Workshop, and Cafe Bliss.
