Our upcoming production, Dead Good, has dying as its central theme. The show is an exploration of death but, most importantly, a celebration of life - and an opportunity to get people talking and thinking about something that happens to all of us, but that is rarely discussed. Audiences who want to ask questions, or who would like practical or emotional advice and support, will be able to chat with charities after the show, including Marie Curie, who are aiming to be at all our theatre venues, along with End of Life Doulas via Living Well, Dying Well.
Marie Curie is a registered charitable organisation in the United Kingdom which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families. End of Life Doulas are individuals who support practical, emotional and spiritual needs at the end of life, and are a consistent and compassionate presence, with knowledge, experience and understanding. Living Well, Dying Well encourages reflection on how to live life fully, while planning and preparing for the end of life, running training, conversations and services which help people think about, talk about and plan for death in a safe and supportive way.
Dead Good tours from January 2020: tour dates will be announced in September.
