It’s been a wonderful year, and it's taken us quite a while to work out our highlights...but here are twelve of the best.
In January, our full mask workshop sells out at London International Mime Festival
In February, The Best Thing begins a tour of the UK and Europe
In March, research for A Brave Face gets underway with a Mask Residency for Veterans documented by Guardian photojournalist Kate Holt
In April, a Knowledge Sharing Day brings together all our Strategic Touring partners, working to make our work more accessible, in particular to people living with dementia.
In May NHS Dudley CCG take part in Listening with your Eyes, our workshops created for people working in the Health and Care sectors
In June, Our Midwives on Call cause joyous mayhem at Glastonbury Festival, and we take Sharing Joy, our show for people living with dementia, to ten care homes.
In July, Vamos becomes an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation…hurrah!
In August, The Best Thing heads to Perigueux International Mime Festival
In September, the Vamos team, along with fluffy four-legged friends, walk the Alzheimer’s Society Cheltenham Memory Walk
In October, we form Vamos Amigos, a team of special supporters who help spread the word about what we do
In November, Finding Joy ends a year of performing in the UK, Norway, Germany and the Czech Republic by heading to the China International Mime Festival
In December, rehearsals start for our new show, A Brave Face (opening in February 2018)…and we get ready for Christmas. Phew!

We had never heard of Vamos and your work , when Finding Joy came to the Marlowe theatre we only read the brief synopsis and decided to go .We have to date only seen Finding Joy and thoroughly pleased we went . It was beautifully presented caused a few tears and made me realise at 64 I could end up like Joy
