Worcestershire’s arts and cultural sector is inviting teachers and professionals involved in educational settings to sign up to Creativity Exchange for the chance to discuss how the curriculum can be revitalised and reenergised and take part in a variety of creative activities and workshops.

Vamos Theatre is delighted to be one of the organisations taking part, helping to inspire teachers and educators with new ideas and techniques to take back to the classroom. The event also features a great range of organisations including Dancefest, Museums Worcestershire, Translucent Dance Company, Perfect Circle Theatre, Meadow Arts, White Sock Theatre, Worcester Live, C&T and University of Gloucester.

The keynote speaker is Dr Michael Anderson, Professor of Creativity and Arts Education in the Sydney School of Education and Social Work at The University of Sydney and Co-Director of the CREATE Centre. Michael is an internationally recognised educational leader in school transformation processes and has taught, researched and published in education and transformation for over 20 years.

Educators taking part also get the chance to watch two new commissions from Worcestershire’s young artists on the impact of arts within education.

The event is FREE and will be online using Zoom.  The closing date for applications is Sunday 27 June 2021.
