As our Care Home show Sharing Joy comes to an end this week after a laughter, music and silliness-filled fortnight, we thought we should celebrate some particularly brave and game performers.
One staff member from each Care Home volunteered to 'give birth' during the show, and with a lot of heaving and pushing and sweating, a little full-mask baby popped out from under the blanket. One of the audience members, Ann from Hastings Care Home summed up the general reaction, "my favourite bit of all was Holly having the baby I laughed and laughed".
We'd like to thank all the staff who took part as a new mum, and all those at the Care Homes whose help meant we could put on the best performance possible. We couldn't have done it without you.
