On January 23rd we’ll be at the National Activity Providers Association’s 2026 Conference, where we’ll be running a stall as well as creating Joy and hilarity with our Walkabout characters.

The conference, described as the UK’s leading national event focused on activity, engagement and wellbeing in care, will explore Culture in Activity Provision – what it means, why it matters and how it can transform the lives of people living and working in care settings.

There will be inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops and real-life case studies from across the UK and beyond – including a spotlight on cultural care in Japan. Vamos Theatre will be bringing its own brand of hands-on performance to the conference, with our mask characters out and about interacting with delegates. Our stall will feature info on all our Arts in Health provision and resources, including our ground-breaking Culture Change in Dementia Care initiative, our performances for people living with dementia, and our training for carers and other health professionals.

If you’re involved in care, this promises to be an excellent and inspiring conference, so well worth a visit. And if you’ll be there, come and say hello!
