Vamos Central, our experienced group of actors and performers with mild to moderate learning disabilities. is currently working hard in rehearsals for its a brand new summer performance, Have Patients

Exploring the strange and unexpected world of the GP’s surgery, Have Patients promises audiences a joyous performance of pure fun. Shenanigans ensue as a janitor is forced to assume the role of GP for the day, and the surgery is overrun with demanding patients and crackpot healers. How will the surgery cope? Will anyone get any treatment? And will the lowly janitor save the day?

Non-verbal, accessible, riotous and hilarious, Have Patients has been devised and created by members of Vamos Central. The performance is free; however we will be taking cash and card donations towards the group's running costs on the night.

Vamos Theatre's Engagement Producer, Claire Birch, commented, "I'm so excited about Have Patients! Each week as we rehearse the show, we add even more funny, clever and let's face it naughty moments and details. The actors have so much experience in creating shows and sharing their ideas; we are in for a raucous, interactive and hilarious treat!"
