We're delighted to have loaded up the van and set out on our 2025 tour of Sharing Joy, a show for people living with dementia, learning disabilities and other neurological conditions.
The colourful and vibrant interactive performance will be performed at care homes, care venues and theatres across Worcestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Greater London and Norfolk. Through music, dance, puppetry and laughter, the show brings pleasure and meaning to everyone watching, keeping audiences engaged, involved and exhilarated. Set in the 1940s and 1950s, there’s music to bring back memories, dancing to enjoy (or join in with), swinging dresses and best suits. It’s playful and joyous, encouraging everyone to take part and express themselves.
We're super happy to be welcoming back four of our favourite performers to present the show - Alejandra Bacelar Pereira, Aron De Casmaker, Angela Laverick and Joshua Patel, all of whom have worked extensively with us, including taking performances and workshops into care homes and to people living with dementia.
The tour opens this week in Malvern, taking in 24 performances in the next month. Whilst some shows are for specific care home residents, several are open to the public, including in Worcester, Wolverhampton and Norfolk.
