Vamos Central, our drama group for people with mild to moderate learning disabilities, has had a brilliant autumn term, focusing on mask character work and non-verbal play surrounding themes of life with a learning disability - from the joys to the hardships. From this initial work, in the group's weekly sessions, the group has started to formulate ideas for the end of year show in June 2026. Members have also had many sensory activities like those in the picture above, where the whole group spent a good ten minutes under a parachute!
Vamos Central finished this term with a Christmas Party full of food, drinks, Christmas cards, Christmas games, and Christmas karaoke. The whole group would like to wish everyone festive joy and happy holidays this winter.
