What we offer schools and colleges

Workshops for schools and colleges

Vamos Theatre's workshops for schools, colleges and universities cover a range of drama skills, including full mask, physical theatre, and devising. Suitable for all ages from KS2 to degree level, workshops encourage teamwork and confidence, focus, participation and creativity. We offer workshops of varying lengths, from taster sessions to week residencies, and have workshops created specifically for d/Deaf students.

During our show tours, we offer a special full mask workshop programme based around around our latest production. Sessions use elements from the show’s story to encourage an understanding of its main themes, and provide a link between the student’s workshop experience and the performance.

We also have an excellent range of workshops designed to support teachers' and lecturers' professional development, covering physical theatre, mask skills and devising.

All workshop leaders hold current DBS certification. Vamos Theatre is committed to a practice which protects children, young people and vulnerable adults from harm. You can read about our Safeguarding Policy here.
