Workshops during coronavirus

Welcome

The coronavirus pandemic has created great challenges for performers and teachers. In response, we’ve adapted our most popular workshops to run online, and to suit social distancing and remote learning. Webinars include Mask, Devising and Non-Verbal Theatre for Teachers, and Mask and Devised Theatre for Performers

Webinars

Mask, devising and non-verbal theatre for teachers (live or recorded)

Join Rachael Savage and members of the Vamos Theatre creative team for a two-hour webinar, full of drama and devising exercises and ideas taken straight from Vamos Theatre’s professional rehearsal room. During the session, we’ll discuss how we approach mask, character development and devising from stimulus techniques, and show numerous practical examples - with plenty of time for you to ask questions and address specific issues.

Exercises have been adapted in line with coronavirus restrictions and can be taken straight back to the classroom and applied to your own work, whether in mask theatre or the devising process of any non-verbal characterisation and storytelling. There’s no need to make notes, as we’ll provide a comprehensive pdf resource pack to support the webinar.
