Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to my Crowdfunder campaign to help the people of Kherson, Ukraine. We are already sending money directly into the city along with the messages that you are posting on the appeal wall - these kind words are the main thing keeping my friends going, as well, of course, as the hope to be liberated.
We were bowled over to reach our initial target of £700 in less than 7 hours. Over half way through the campaign, knowing the immediate difference the money is making, we created a new aim - to reach £2800. The response has been utterly amazing and hugely generous, with the total now standing at £3275. Every penny will directly effect people's lives and the more we raise, the more we can help the residents of Kherson who need food and medicine. If you want to donate, and can spare even a fiver, it will make a difference.

I feel really lucky that I have found and tested a direct route to getting money into Kherson, so that every penny goes straight to the people. It will be spent on food and medicine; it won’t be spent on arms. It will be spent on survival - survival of my friends, whose constant message has been “Thank you for not forgetting about us.”
