A big Vamos welcome to the Nursing Lives cast who arrived with us this week to start rehearsals.
We’re very pleased to welcome back James Greaves, who played Danny in Finding Joy. James worked on many of Trestle Theatre’s classic shows, and his mask experience is immense. We’re very glad to have him with us once more. Vamos Theatre Associate Artist Richard J Fletcher comes to us from panto at the Oldham Coliseum, giving him only one day off between jobs – so thanks Richard!
Joining the boys is Marissa Gunter, who first performed for Vamos in the ExtraCare Spring to Life project earlier last year: she proved so talented, cheery and totally cheeky we wanted her back. Completing the cast is the wonderful Sarah Hawkins, who has been a performer in every Vamos tour so far – a talented mask actor and a mean hand with costume ironing, we’re delighted to welcome her back.
The four will be joined later in the month by Touring Technician Chris Marsh-Hilfiker who'll come straight from work with Little Angel puppet theatre.
Over the next four weeks we’ll have all the production team in rehearsal, as well as two new apprentices who’ll be helping with stage management duties –we’re sure there will be lots of fun, music, dancing, and eating biscuits - as well as some hard work!
