Vamos is extremely pleased to be able to announce the appointment of a new Associate Artist, Richard J. Fletcher.
Richard, who first joined Vamos for the Finding Joy 2014 tour is a versatile and experienced actor whose skills extend into workshop leading and tour management. As an actor his work includes performances for Coventry Belgrade, London Bubble, Salisbury Playhouse, Northern Broadsides/West Yorkshire Playhouse, New Perspectives, and many seasons in panto at the Oldham Coliseum. Richard has proved to be a committed and reliable artist who shares many of Vamos’s ideals and ambitions. We are therefore delighted that he has agreed to join Vamos as an Associate.
Richard’s work for Vamos will include touring as performer and tour manager for our next national tour of Nursing Lives, as a trainer for Vamos’s on-going London Business School partnership, as actor and tour manager for the Vamos autumn tour to care homes in partnership with Sanctuary Care, and as a walkabout performer.
Vamos runs its Associate Artist scheme to show a genuine recognition of the commitment and loyalty of artists, aiming to work with them on a variety of projects and offering a development route for those involved.
Richard joins designer Carl Davies, composer Janie Armour and performer/administrator Honor Hoskins as current Associates. We look forward to continuing an exciting and fruitful partnership with all concerned.
