Who we are

Vamos Theatre, the Worcestershire-based full mask theatre company, tours nationally and internationally, taking its unique style of innovative and engaging theatre to small and large communities alike: theatre that brims with visual inventiveness, original music, puppetry, dexterity, and hilarity. Vamos Theatre is dedicated to devised work, physical and fantastical adaptations of human stories, often rooted in real life histories and events. Vamos is passionate about theatre and its role in people’s lives, in performance and participation. Local to international, Vamos Theatre engages and inspires intergenerational audiences and participants with its playful and fearless full mask theatre.

What we do

Established in 2006, Vamos’s creative pedigree and audience popularity continues to grow and flourish, through its wide-ranging touring productions, extensive workshop programmes, and educational training. Vamos has a core team who, alongside its network of creative practitioners, continually strive to create innovative and exciting theatre that surpasses the expectations of our audience, our bookers and our workshop participants.

Vamos Theatre has developed collaborative work with The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, The Courtyard Hereford, Imagineer Productions, Malvern Theatres, The Roses Theatre Tewkesbury, The Swan Theatre Worcester, Nottingham Playhouse, and The University of Worcester.
